In July and August, the lake in the gardens turns into a stage to host performances and concerts by international music stars.If you are in the mood for some Dolce Vita in a more Mediterranean setting, all you need to do is head south to Caldaro where, set like a gemstone among lush vineyards, you will find South Tyrol’s largest (and warmest) bathing lake. Lake Garda is farther south and more suitable for a full day trip, but once there you can hire a boat and glide across clear waters against a stunning backdrop: a truly memorable experience.
